For large assemblies and those with geometries that cannot easily fit into the Toplay manufacturing process, Checon will braze individual tips to substrates through Furnace, Resistance or Induction brazing systems.  For high volume production, tip brazing is favored, utilizing a modern furnace with the highest quality atmosphere generation, monitoring and custom belt drives. Large assemblies with multiple components can be brazed in one step or through utilization of step brazing procedures.  Tip Brazed assemblies are C-Scanned to ensure the joint quality between contact material and substrate, and to hone optimum process parameters.

While the braze layer of a tip brazed assembly is typically thicker and not as complete as that of a Toplay assembly, the large attachment area typically more than compensates, facilitating sufficient heat sinking capacity for the given application.
