Riveted Assemblies

There are occasional applications where the best solution is a mechanically staked contact – using either solid or composite rivets.

Examples include:

• Low power applications requiring gold plating on the contact surface.
• Low quantity manufacturing – where rivets are staked manually.
• Very thin or heat treatable base materials that would otherwise be challenging to weld or Toplay.
• Where heat-rise may require additional the additional heat sink capacity of a rivet.

The riveted assembly is a powerful tool in Checon’s arsenal when other attachment technologies are inappropriate and we can offer low quantity manually assembled components or high speed in-press riveted assemblies as required.
