Community

Checon is committed to supporting the local community by assisting deserving non-profit organizations with capital projects. While ongoing annual support is critical for the operation of nearly all charitable organizations, successful charities have strong programs to raise these funds. We believe that corporate sponsors are most needed when the funds are to be used for unusual or substantial capital projects that annual giving programs simply cannot support.

Recent examples are Checon’s contributions to the Attleboro Land Trust and the City of Attleboro’s Finberg Camp for the purchase of land to be preserved for community activities and access. Financial support of such programs illustrates Checon’s long term plan to be an active contributor of projects that serve the local community and our natural environment.
