Steve Carter, Checon’s Senior Sales Engineer, has been promoted to Inside Sales Manager
North Attleboro, MA – September 30, 2011 – Steve Carter, Checon’s Senior Sales Engineer, has been promoted to Inside Sales Manager, with full responsibility for all of Checon’s customer service activities. He will report to William Balme, who as Executive Vice President retains overall responsibility for Checon’s Sales and Operations groups. In his new role, Steve will continue to involve himself with key sales accounts in addition to managing all customer service programs and staff development.
Steve, who holds a Bachelor of Science in Resource Development from the University of Rhode Island, has been with Checon for over seven years, during which time he has fulfilled responsibilities in new project management, marketing communications, and most recently, outside sales. Many of Checon’s customers know Steve from his on-site visits, trade show exhibition and industry conference participation.
“Steve’s accumulated life skills, knowledge of Checon operations and access to all departments of operation, will help fortify the knowledge of our experienced customer service staff,” said Balme.
