Properties of Silver Nickel Materials (GNi & SNi)

Silver nickel is more ductile and more resistant to corrosion than many other materials. In fact, it has many of the same properties as brass and bronze. It’s extremely hard, resistant to abrasion, as well as malleable and nonmagnetic. Silver nickel manufacturers understand that it has a wide array of potential applications. It’s commonly used in handrails, push plates, and even door knobs. Its abrasion resistance makes it ideal for surfaces that receive repeated contact. You may also find it used for soda fountains, in bar equipment, or in panels, doors, grilles, and railings. Capable far beyond its occasional use in costume jewelry, it’s a versatile, resilient, and adaptable material.
